Hello, I've seen a similar post here but not quite the same, mine is for three hard wired appliances.

Going from one oven to two plus an induction hob replaceing a gas hob. I'm after a 3 cooker wiring diagram , I'm guessing it will involve 2x duel cooker plates or 60 amp junction box.
Second part of my question, the smaller oven (built in microwave combi) spec states "Required Fuse (A): 16" How do achieve this on a cooker circuit? it has a cord but needs hard wiring.

It's your standard 32amp MCB >45amp isolater> single gang cooker plate at the moment. I can't remember if it's 6mm or 10mm cable until the old oven comes out.

Fyi - I trained as a sparky in my younger years so responsibly competent if not fully up to date, a part P registered will be doing the final fix sign off.

Do some Googling and you can find the spec yourself. But here you are
All three are hardwire only
Combi 3kW
Oven. 3.5 kW
Hob. 7.3 kW

You’ll need to remember back to your old day and apply diversity as to if that is not too big for you 32amp supply (my gut feeling is that it should be…*)

You’ll have to find a way to engineer this. Two dual appliance connectors daisy chained should work. Put the hob on the first one..

*. Things have changed. Nobody will be interested (unless you have a mate in the trade). They would be certifying that they designed, installed and tested the whole thing, not presented with a fait accompli.

Totally agree, you get that one!

I think I would be happy with that lot under diversity - it's under the generally accepted 15kW for a 32A circuit (with 6mm), but even then, would you really switch all 4 hob zones, the grill & microwave, and grill & single oven on all at once?

But that's the basis of the principle of diversity!! 15kW at full chat is 65amps!

Yes, diversity allows for all the combined powers to be taken into consideration.
My point is, that with this combination of equipment, there is so little likelihood of getting near to this combined power anyway I.e. with the combi microwave, you would likely be using the microwave, or the grill; especially if you were using the grill in the single oven.

Thanks for the help peeps, yes I'm quite comfortable with the math, Just been reading up in my latest copy of the requirements these books cost me half a crown they're that old

Diversity = first 10A + 30% of remaining+ 5A for the 13amp outlet.

Therefore 7530/230= 32.7A

32.7-15=17.5

30% of 17.5=5.25

5.25+15= 20.25amps with diversity applied. 6mm T&E allows upto 46A and it could even be wired with 4mm. It's more a question on the 16A protective device required for the hard wired Microwave. It's not delivered yet, maybe the cord is light weight. With no spare ways in my CU, should I install a small local CU in the cupboard, though to be honest I'm inclined to treat all three as a combined load‍
