3 phase transformer (google images)

Was in class today and googled 3 phase transformer. These 2 images came up and I can't see that they would do much ?

The C&G handout on transformers image is also shown.

The 'three limb' arrangement is pretty much the standard 3-phase arrangement.

What aspect of three phase transformers cant you get your head around?
 
The diagrams are NOT transformers. To be a transformer there has to be two windings on each core. ( 6 in total ) A primary and a secondary which are not connected to each other so 4 terminals per core ( 12 in total )

There is a special case of step up transformer. That is an auto-transformer where primary and secondary are connected in series

In the pictures, I can't see a primary and secondary winding.

I expected to see something more like this:

Yeah, that's what I was expecting.
