Since my last posting to you there is now a another outside light to be fitted with a built-in PIR sensor.
I have an isolator switch near the door which I'd use as an override as well.
I'm not sure I'm Googling for the right thing, or understanding the MK Grid Plus options correctly, but are there any domestic switches on the market that offer an intermediate setting:
- UP = cut all power to light and PIR
- MIDDLE = PIR 'armed' (ideally with neon indication)
- DOWN = light on all the time
Alternatively could a dimmer switch work?? Would the 'intermediate' settings vary the sensitivity of the PIR, so that when 'fully on' the light is on permanently?
Or is the only option to fit a two-gang switchplate - one switch for arming, and the other for override?
Thanks again in advance.
