34 Piece VDE Electrical Kit for £30 - Good deal?

I too prefer these, for years I have used the black RS type with the front facing jaws howver using those on 2.5mm cable has cream crackered them.
Ones like these shown are a lot better, I'm not messing about pulling the end off cables when my hands are inside equipment with sharp stainless steel edges.

Although I just tried a pair from china, a massive £2.99 and the feed back will be something akin to "Oval holes, cheap as chips, now in the bin!".

Of course, I have returned to using my 23 year old RS pair with a missing BA nut and requiring re adjustment every now and again. :)
