I don't think people have thought enough (or at all tbh) what a mandatory vaccine policy actually means.

If you want to be a bus driver, you have to have a licence.

If you want to work in a bank, they will not want a thief

If you want to work on the railways, you are not allowed in a pub in working hours or in uniform.

If you want to work with children, you have to show a CRB check

If you want to work in a petrol refinery, you are not allowed to carry matches and cigarettes

If you want to work in a secure or secret location, you are not allowed to carry a camera

If you want to work with sick and vulnerable people, you can be required to show that you have taken reasonable precautions to minimise the spread of serious and potentially fatal disease.

If you refuse, the consequences of your refusal are that you will have have do something else.

Don't whine that it's not fair.

Only one of those things is the same.

Being vaccinated does not stop you being infectious.
And reduction in infectivity due to vaccines is slight and ignores situation and circumstance.

It is a hysterical response from the pearl clutching left to garner validation for their own insecurities.

The members of the medical profession who, ****, me, must surely have the best opinion on this, are quite right to tell you bed wetters to **** off.

Dreary me.

But antivaxxers think the medical profession lie. Why trust them on this?

By using that term, i instantly put you into the bracket of the pearl clutching leftist bed wetter and thus struggle to take your opinion seriously.

There is telling lies and not telling the truth. All sides guilty as charged.

You think that "******" is an acceptable or intelligent response in any discussion forum, that depends on written arguments for the exchange of views?

That proves that you are devoid of intelligence, rather than as you claim, the owner of a superior intelligence.
And there's nothing humorous about it.

Do you think doctors lie on death certificates?
Don't understand the relevance of your comment.

My FIL death cert has Sepsis recorded as the cause of death.
The 2 years of cancer treatment and ensuing organ failure which led to sepsis isn't mentioned.

Be careful what you choose to accept as fact.

Antivaxxer trolls try desperately to find a way to make their obsession look less insane

Who is the loon?

Certainly, your post is emotional rather than rational.......

It was a simple question. Antivaxxers on here don't believe mortality figures because they think doctors lie on death certificates. Yet, at other times, they are seen as heroes when it suits.

Just wondered if you had a view.

"Anti-vaxxers" don't exist except in the far margins.
Not that you can define what the term actually means. Because when you do try to explain what it means, your use of it makes one look just as stupid as those who you are labeling.

Until you stop using cancelitis in the discussion, i will struggle to take you seriously.

I just answered your point. Both sides use statistics to their own benefit.

No, you really didn't, using statistics for their own benefit isn't even in the same ballpark as lying, but never mind.

Do you think doctors lie on death certificates?
Not really, but they "interpret" the cause of death and contributory factors.
Example, my cousin died of heart attack during lockdown having been refused entry at a&e and sent to a walk in centre.
They put covid as cause of death and refused to do an autopsy.
His medical record has not been disclosed yet for "admin technical issues" over a year later.
His family believes that no covid test was performed.
Example 2, my friend had kidney cancer and was going to die, he knew and everybody knew about it.
He died during the lockdown.
Guess what they put on his death certificate as primary cause of death?
Yes, covid.
Was he tested?
Who knows...
Did tbe doctors lie?
Technically not because without an autopsy they can guess and that's perfectly in line with procedures.
Are/were they pressured in pumping up covid deaths?
Who knows...
Billions are being made by pharmaceutical companies and ppe suppliers, so, who knows what people would do for money...

It's quite alarming that people can even consider it a rational and sensible policy.

The answer to that is like all of our other must does that come about due to the impact of people doing them. Covid's impact how ever it's looked at is pretty severe or haven't you noticed.

Previous vaccination programs have been done in another way long term. One day at school people are told your getting a jab for X today. The people who do it just turn up. Parents etc are not contacted.

Front line health workers already have to have a couple of jabs for exactly the same reason as covid has been added. A country is likely to encourage people to have covid jabs because of what the lack does to the running of the country. There are various ways any country can do that if they see the need. As time goes on more may. It depends on what effect covid is having. A good one for the UK would be to tie up the data bases and charge more income tax or health insurance charges.
