It would be good if politics could be discussed without this kind of violence.

These are isolated incidents. It is not getting in the way of democracy in any way. The only people making a big deal of it are the media, as usual.

About a week ago I saw a Police van (transit type) drive through a red light (no sirens or flashing lights), just in a queue of other traffic.

Conclusion?

Conclusion a) The police should not be sitting in traffic b) All audis should be melted down.

Thomas Mair was mentally ill, under treatment, and shouldn't have been on the streets. His attack on Jo Cox was not political; he didn't offer any defense or "manifesto" in court, and he has not been copied, only universally condemned.

The remainers' milkshake attacks have been celebrated, endorsed, promoted and repeated. Some Labour loon was in the news the other day stating that it should have been acid, rather than milkshake, that was thrown at Farage.

I recall Ted heath had a bag of ink thrown over him during some EU get together years

Various politicians have had eggs thrown at them

Prescott punched one said egg thrower
Milk shakes , eggs or any thing else thrown at politicians those who throw it should be banged up for 2 years minimum

Either that or send em abroad on mine clearance duty ;)

throwing milk at him, and poking him in the head with a stick, and shouting abuse.

"Leave.EU tweeted a mocked-up video portraying Nigel Farage and cronies throwing beer over politicians, days before condemning protesters for throwing milkshakes over him."

What mental illness had he been diagnised with, and what treatment was he having for it?

His attack on Jo Cox was not political;
Don't be ridiculous.

What did police find in Mair's home?

A court heard he had a Third Reich golden eagle featuring a swastika on top of his bookcase.

Police also found Nazi badges and a "Deutschland" cap, as well as far-Right and white supremacist books and magazines.

The books which lined his shelves included March of the Titans: A History of White Race and SS Race Theory and Mate Selection Guidelines.

The Old Bailey also heard the search unearthed press cuttings on Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik and a dossier on Mrs Cox.

Jurors were shown printouts found at the home of Thomas Mair which contained information about the 41-year-old politician.

The court heard police also recovered computer printouts containing information Jo, including one statement in which she had said: “I believe the patriotic choice is to vote for ‘Britain to remain inside the EU’.”

Police seized computers from libraries in Birstall and Batley which Mair had used to look at more far-right material and search for information on Mrs Cox and .22 rifles.

On April 6, he looked at the American neo-Nazi news site Daily Stormer before searching for Dylann Roof, who was suspected of killing nine black Americans in Charleston in 2015, the court heard.

He told police he was a “political activist” before he was rugby tackled to the ground a mile from the murder scene.

[A witness] heard him shouting: “This is for Britain, Britain will always come first.”

Another witness said the killer shouted: “We’re British independence” and “Keep Britain independent.”

She's an idiot.

But not a member of the Labour Party.
