A cake

There is no evidence these people were homophobic.
The verdict of the courts in the UK and Europe are a reflection of that.
Since you seem to believe that the "targeting" of Christians is acceptable, maybe you should challenge your own bigotry.
If a religion is homophobic, then practitioners of that religion are innately homophobic.

I don't think this is unreasonable.

Wonder what would have happened if it had been an Islamic
Bakery ???

Probably they would have been killed on the spot by the owners followed up with a slap on the back and a round of applause from the MSM and the eternally offended left.

This in turn would have sparked much outrage and violence from both as they spiral into a tornado of internal outrage and offence as they battle it out as to whether religion or sexuality is the more precious of inalienable rights.

Has British Bake Off taught us nothing?

Make your own cake!

The fruit cakes could have bought the cake plain and just put there own wording on it with a sharpie or what ever

but no they had to cause a fuss for 8 years

Islam is no more homophobic than Christianity.
It's urban mythology and corruption of the original 'holy books' that various sects use to teach their versions of the 'gospel'.
Unfortunately the 'poorly educated' and others that want to believe such mythology for their own personal reasons, that accept the urban mythology and corrupted holy books.

Some religious fruitcakes confuse and conflate religion with politics.

Look up the definition of homophobia.
Christians are opposed to the practice of homosexuality and not homosexuals as people.
The people in Ashers bakery case had served the complainant before without a problem, they had never discriminated against him because he was a homosexual, in fact they say he will still be welcome in their shop.
Maybe it should be acceptable for someone to walk into a muslim bakery and demand they bake a cake with the image of Mohammad on it, or better still go into a Jewish bakery and demand that they bake a cake with a Swastika on it to celebrate Hitlers birthday.

I have heard of protests about Alan's Snack Bar, but not sure if they were cake related. But things do tend to get blown up out of proportion when related to Islam
