Why do we always magnify the slightest delay on the road out of all proportion to the reality??
See how some were overtaking on the 'drop' side even when bends and poor visibility were signed, on an already narrow 'ledge' with more than enough shrines to the departed on view....

I think the impact at the bottom of the ravin does that even more effectively!!
