Oh gawd, turkey AGAIN. Goose is very rich and very fatty, nut roast is only good if it is home-made but it takes AGES to make.

What is everybody else having??

Turkey crowns: no-one in my family likes dark meat so this way we get almost entirely white meat.

The trick is to prepare most of it in the days before the meal, assembling the final dish just prior to baking.

And don't forget the Cranberry sauce and Sherry Gravy.....

I can hear it now, a distant chorus all over the land of " O O O Sherry Gravy....Can you come out tonight?"

I have had it a few times off the claw , an once abroad the old "Steptoe an Son "film springs to mind ,violently sick next day .. lol

Marks an Spensors (sp?)do a great prepared Lobster ..... ?

or do you do your own thing with a live one ?
