I think you should think again. We have to earn a living by learning, training, certifying and so on, and so on, and so on, and here you are giving any amount of information away for NOTHING TO THE CONTRIBUTORS. The owners of the site do nicely no doubt out of the advertising, presented to all the visitors attracted to the site by me (ok, and a few others), and the great unwashed save money hand over fist by bodging it themselves from the information supplied. Do they comply with the criminal law and inform building control when they do notifiable work? do they heck.

as i previously said, i was thinking more along the lines of
this is a 3 way motorised valve
or
the tank in your loft which does it look like the first one or the 2nd one?
yes ok, i am taking the mick with the sherman tank, but my point is rather than posters saying what that then, you can say look in the refernce section.
also it could have links to previous posts such as re pressurising system
