A year of Keir

MSM have done a great hatchet job to make the pub landlord who has some sensible and valid concerns look like a raving loon. Remember, like many landlords he hasn't had much of an income for 14 months, will have massive overheads/debts and his business has an uncertain future, especially seeing as Bath was a tourist hotspot. His anger and frustration is understandable. Media are in bed with the politicians.

The MSM's edited/twisted view.

What really happened.

As usual, the MSM are our enemies. Shame most people base their opinions of the Covid1984 situation on what they get from papers and tv.

Very telling and high handed response from Starmer about people's genuine concerns. But we've been here before with our high and mighty socialists when Gordo dismissed a woman who also had genuine concerns as "that bigoted woman". Some people need to wake up re. the motives of our politicians and media.

I'm really late to the party again....
Can you post a link for me please?

press reports suggest that this person is the DPS.

According to other reports,

"The co-owner of a Bath pub that asked Sir Keir Starmer to leave earlier today (Monday, April 17) has distanced itself from its landlord's comments.

Co-owner Tim Perry has said the views of Rod Humphris, who told the Labour Party leader to "get out" of the pub earlier, did not reflect that of the business.

The Labour leader’s visit to Bath to promote a new campaign to support high streets was overshadowed by Mr Humphris accusing him of failing the country.

Mr Humphris claimed the country had “f***ed its economy because old people are dying” and said Sir Keir Starmer had failed as opposition leader.

Mr Perry said: “The pub is getting blamed for it. We’re getting death by social media, when actually Rod’s the one that held those opinions, not me.”

The Labour leader said he “profoundly” disagreed with Mr Humphris’ views on the lockdown and cast doubt on whether he thought there was a pandemic at all.

Mr Humphris told Sir Keir in the angry confrontation on April 19: “I’m incandescent about the job you’ve done. This country has f***ed its economy because old people are dying.

“You have failed me. I’ve been a Labour voter my entire life. You have failed to be the opposition. You’ve failed to ask if the lockdown is functioning.

“Thousands of people have died because you have failed to do your job and ask the real questions.

“You’ve allowed our children to wear masks in schools when there’s never been any evidence for it.”

Sir Keir, whose wife works in the NHS, said hospitals had nearly been overwhelmed with coronavirus cases “so I really don’t need lectures from you about this pandemic”.

His team ushered him into the Raven but Mr Humphris tried to force him out, saying: “That man is not allowed in my pub. Get out of my pub!”

The video went viral, with some saying they would not visit the Raven, while others congratulated Mr Humphris.

Mr Humphris was unapologetic and said the pub should never have been locked down.

“It’s obvious lockdowns don’t save lives,” he said in an interview with the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

So we can pretty much sum it up in the following the shouty land lord is a bell end

starmer was invited into the boozer by a co owner / land lord / bussiness partner

Please read my op about the story & explain- A how do I express that I like the landlord.
B what did I say that was wrong?
Thanks.

Although pub closures are not really Kier Starmers fault, "I really don’t need a lecture from you" is not the sort of thing a Labour leader should be saying to an irate Labour voter. Starmer did himself no favours there.

Starmer is doing what he does best. Keeping the Labour party completely unelectable. Must be tough being a Labour supporter. Continually having to stand up for idiots like Starmer and Corbyn.
