It also seems there some dispute about court cases as the EC press release states it was an amicable settlement and implies strongly that the legal aspects are covered. So no further court proceedings.

Sites and paper likes that are bad news all round. Big problem - almost impossible to get a balanced view on anything left or right but I have had a long term feeling from what happens when elected that the left have an edge. Conservative these days should be called Radical. Ok but a lot of the things they introduce on people control etc create more work for all sorts that work in important areas such as teaching and don't improve things at all. NHS ? Privatisation is a mixed bag as well. Doesn't ensure competition. Often mentioned in the news as not working one way or the other but does in some cases result in significant amounts of tax being collected that we are paying. Actually that is the only real justification they have found for them.
The basic Tory idea on a number of things is that people don't work hard enough and costs get cut to minimums. Fine but quality needs considering as well.
