Hi all, does anyone happen to know is there is some decent documentation for the Ademco ContactID codes? I've found a few docs but they all seem to have a short description and while some of them are plainly obvious (eg 110 Fire, presumably means "grab a hose"), some are less clear, eg 163 tank level, is this the absolute number of vehicles in your arsenal or the number which are serviceable? What is the difference between 110 Fire and 102 Combustion?

The particular question I'm interested in answering is: What does 573 Burglary bypass mean? Does this mean that the purps were on the premises but failed to affect entry? That a squad car went past but failed to stop?

Thanks in advance.

it means the zone was bypassed, which means usually the person deliberately omitted the zone.

Usually for a faulty sensors (temporary solution) or as part of a group of zones in use and others not in use like a part set.

What does bypassed mean in this context? I saw the code after an issue with a sensor. It logged some 130 (BURGLARY) messages, 463 (Re-ARM AFTER ALARM) and 573 (BURG BYPASS).

It may have automatically isolated that device if it was at fault on re arming ….this is just a best guess
What alarm panel is it ?

Thanks. That's very interesting. From what I read, it looks like the zone force omitted on rearm. Just out of curiosity, what causes that?

When systems are 'bells only' the panel can be configured to force a zone omit when the zone triggers multiple times - the number of times is programmable. Say a door is left ajar, and it causes an alarm trigger. The alarm will trigger and bell sound for the bell duration and then the system will rearm. If the door is still ajar or may open again, the panel will trigger and sound the siren again - this could go on all night and result in very unhappy neighbours. So, the panel programming allows one to configure the system to omit the offending zone once it triggers N times. If your system is monitored by a company, or self monitored using a service like SelfMon, then you will be contacted in order to take remedial action rather than the system performing the operation itself.

Thanks in advance.
I would guess 573 burglary bypass means that the zone was isolated ( or omitted )
