I'm stuck in the middle here. I posted a suggestion which I said at the outset I fully accepted was going to be shot to pieces. A few contributors have demostrated that my idea had no real mileage in it, and fmt showed how even the selection procedure was fundamentally flawed.

I'm not offended by anyone's contribution, and would hate for this to become a reason for two posters to have a falling out over, especially after the day we've had
