I would only be looking at using 2 cameras running back to the recorder, the other houses are across the Close

Regarding DPA - an area of many a debate. Normally, domestic CCTV is exempt from the DPA requirements. However, you having a camera connected that is not on your property, could be argued as no longer strictly domestic.
Chances of anyone worrying are remote but you never know.

Eneo, Techwin etc all will do the job.

Could not beleive it, ordered the Eneo unit last night and out of stock and has been upgraded to a 320gb hard drive!
