Hi I have a felted flat small canopy above my front door its slightly bigger than the door width.
When there is heavy rain the rain pools a bit on top but sometimes but rarely it drips slowly over the front edge.

I was wondering if there is an easy solution for it , small bore drainage channel would be cheap as its not big and easy to fit
At a guess i would say the canopy its less than 2m long and less than 1 m wide.
If so would it be acceptable to drain down on the right hand side where there is a down wall next to front door 90 degrees to the property direct onto my Resin Bound Suds compliant drive?
There are no drains nearby
There would be minimal amounts of water as the canopy is small and the existing drive takes all the rain anyway ?

Any thoughts

I will try tomorrow the real question is would i be ok to let the downpipe drain onto suds drive
as canopy is tiny and very low flow or am i just creating issues.

Just some puddling perhaps (ice?) and the odd bit of mud or crud.
The ground is Resin bound Suds compliant and water seeps straight through it also the same water drops on it anyway in a diff place.
The flat canopy is very small just covers a little more than the door.

Is there alternate answer to build up the front edge on top where it drains off with something and allow it to drain to the side.?
