Advise to construct wooden fence on top wall

if you can dig into the ground at the base of the wall and concrete the base of the posts in that will add a lot to the stability. Personally i dont like coach bolts as they never seem to hold that well. Youd be much better using rawl bolts and adding some resin fixing into each hole as well.

Thank you for your comments, I'm still undecided as to what is practicable but they will be useful when we build rest of fence.

The problem is we already have fencing built with posts on the wall, it looks realy good but the posts are very loose due to the failed thunderbolts so we've attached 2"x2" angle brackets to the wooden post and screwed them into the wall using plastic wall plugs, would these wall plugs be suitable; maybe with resin filler (although I've never used resin filler before). The trouble is since the fence is already built around the posts there's no way to remove the posts to start again.

Hi can I ask RAEBOOP how he fixed the supports for the decking wood to the wall. This looks like the ideal solution to my fence/wall problem.

Thanks
