Thanks AdamW, I remembered that you said you had a degree in something related to the science subject for girls. ;)

Biology was always seen as the 'weaker' science subject. It's a very old stereotype, and not applicable anymore. But I am still flogging it. I did chemistry at university and there was always a bit of competition between the sciences. But one thing is for sure, everyone hates physicists.

Methinks you remembered wrongly... and we don't...
Old AW is one, out there doing the business...
Probably not right now, the green cocktail may very well have worked.... New interests and all that can lead to ..

I thought I read that he did microbiology, or genetics, or something biology related but very very clever. We will have to wait for him to confirm or deny. I am more than willing to be proved wrong!

Or just everyone with a speach problem?

Or a spelling problem.

Sorry, that's slightly unfair, I know you are one of our funny little European friends. ;) ;) ;)

I'm afraid I'm one of those physicists everyone hates so badly :( But now my work is in the realms of aerospace engineering... we physicists are the jacks of all scientific and engineering trades

I did do a few "molecular biophysics" courses (the physics of DNA), but my biology knowledge is limited to GCSE biology, a side interest in zoology and what I picked up hanging around the biologists at uni (the only department with totty at my uni  )

The nugget I picked up the other day was that an electric eel is not actually an eel, but a "knifefish". Who woulda thunk it? I love wikipedia!

Yeah, just remember that, the 'jacks', not the experts. :D ;)

Yep Moz, quite agree.

Years ago, degrees were worth something. Nowadays you can get them off the top of Weetabix boxes. Some of the subjects "Media Studies", "Sports Technology" etc. They will never stand up to the sciences/engineering/maths etc. There are jokes amongst science/engineering/maths graduates about people who have "Arts" degrees.

However I must point out that Mensa/IQ type tests are not considered a reliable guide to intelligence anymore - it is skewed towards 'western' thinkings - just learnt facts/data recall, not stuff like intuition aswell.
