no would need plumbing to be re-arranged a bit - but without seeing your pipework it's hard to say if it is the cause or not
where your tank is in the loft, there are 2 pipes going/coming from it - follow these down into your system (near the cylinder usually) and then tell me where the pump is in relation to them

Will do - but will require shifting some furniture about for access etc - I'll let you know.
