I've used them a couple of times no problem but I understand they can get some dodgy sorts on there.

I know a bloke who’s got a little cottage and he does really well with it. Far more than annual rent.

Me too a customer/friend of mine rents from other people then rents Airbnb. Something shivty in her dealings but I like her.

Premier inn for me, you know what to expect. Hull city centre is the go to for service. Sitting in one of their rooms now. (y)B

No.1 son uses it all the time, in various different countries and has never had any issues.

We went to Alicante and Abersoch and both those properties were top notch.

In fact, in Alicante, the guy who owned the flat asked his brother to help us with shopping when we couldn't get a taxi back from Aldi. Bent over backwards, bless him!

PS, just to balance things, we've never had a bad Travelodge or Premier Inn either!

Our daughter used them a lot but manly abroad. Can’t remember her ever saying she had a problem. We stayed at one air bnb place in the Peak district in October a few years ago and it was f'king freezing. The tight arse owner was controlling the heating timing and temperature from somewhere warm and in the end I had to phone him up and tell him to leave it on permanent and let us control the temperature. There was a one-hour boost button on the controller but the controller and oil fired boiler were outside in a brick built shed. No fun at 4 in the morning in a draughty cottage!
