hi all great to see my problem has sparked such debate and youv'e lost me with all those codes...

Pressing the panic button should make the bells ring.
Unless....................
And if your code is valid it will stop, dont forget to reset the button after the test.
Its been programmed really silly, or it was on comms and had silent panic button.
And the bell could be faulty.
Also who fitted it, one company never fitted external bells on certain systems.
