like I said you posted a useless statement namely

"There's no benefit in wireless, better off hard-wired"

i would like to see how you would have wired todays install - grade 2 stone cottage (ex blacksmiths forge) exposed stone on every wall and exposed oak floorboards upstairs - or maybe youd use brown cable and clip it ROFL

oh yeah forgot to mention it needed confirmation too ( you do know what confirmation is don`t you ?)

Do a search of this forum for 'wireless' and see what the general consensus is.

Oh and what are you going to do if there's a radio ham playing about nearby?

The more you post - the sillier you sound.

nope were not talking about the general consensus or the "myths" surrounding radio were talking about your bold statment that Quote

"There's no benefit in wireless, better off hard-wired"

when there so demonstratably was a benefit - namely still been able to comply with the requirments for a G2 system in an historic building.

you do understand the difference between G2 and G3 don`t you ?

What sort of house does this poster live in?

You really are making a fool of yourself (as usual).

so your now saying there is a

benefit in wireless

as the O/P might too live in an impossible (or just old fashioned difficult) property.

the trick is too stop digging Joe when the soils level with your ears (you do know how to dig a hole, dont you Joe?)

Are you on drugs or something? The poster lives in a terraced house and is looking for some cheap kit to protect it - so what do you come up with? £400 for the parts alone? We've has some dummies on this site over the years but you really take the biscuit.

Risk assessment. Of course he knows how to do one.
He'll have read it in an old scanny manual. Isn't that what plasterers do??

You're a complete clown. You should be banned from this site.

now, now Joe - just because someone has a different ( and more knowledgable I might add ) view than yourself you can`t go around banning them - that would be an abuse of power

you know all about abuse of power don`t you joe ? Hmm?

Do you really believe you are posting anything useful to the OP? What planet are you on?

Look back at one of your earlier posts
Inferring a member is not upto it. So how useful was that to the OP?

I think the fact that Saxo is pushing wireless gear for £400 when the poster is looking for a quick fix is just plain daft. This thread needs locking.
