Alarm system over rode

Hi
New to this forum and looking for advice please. My house mate borough home her boyfriend on Saturday night and the alarm went off. He said he over rode it.which I am hoping not everyone knows how to do that. No power is going to the alarm panel or to the boxes in the outside of the house? Will I have to replace my alarm system ? It's a secure watch alarm. Thanks for any help yup can give me ?
