Alpha 240 E boiler problem

Oh and it appears to be that there is no power to the fan when the CH and DHW are switched on and the red and amber lights are lit.

I got a new meter, both sensors DHW and CH show 5kr, the overheat sensor shows 0, should the system be switched on or off to take the measurement? What Volts feed the fan terminals, I dont think power is getting to it (which could be due to a sensor problem, I guess)
 
I think that you are going to need another new meter soon!

Whenever you measure the resistance of anything it needs to be disconnected from the circuit !!!

Jeez :eek: , off and component disconnected. They might have mains on them!!
Sensors should both be about 10k at room temp, 8k at about 35....

Fan is mains

"Thermometer" light means it has overheated so , to quote the user guide:
"Overheat thermostat has operated - press white reset button (see Fig. 1) to reset."

Reason for overheat is another matter, especially with temp sensors telling the boiler it's hot, as they should protect it.....
