Alternative to Quinetic switches?

Thanks all.. I think I am sold on an external IP66 switch now, directly behind the existing switch (on the outside wall). That makes the most sense and would be easy and cheap to install...

Certainly easy and cheap, and would probably be the OK. I just wanted to help you understand that there are lots of other possible approaches.
