The Court Proceedings were to determine as to whether the cost of the original work justified the standard of the price stated at the time and that would have been what should have been reimbursed (Plus Legal Costs)

I do not believe the Court would have accepted that the work would cost Double the original price, that would mean the claimant is making a profit out of legal proceedings.

the district judges are as sharp as razors-- despite what some of the leagal experts on here may think.

The judges do what they are trained to do-- they can sniff out bullshirt in a skinny minute. That is what they get paid for .
All the 'would be' legal eagles on here - wouldn't stand a chance before a judge . The judge would have already made his mind up- after sifting through the crap that was put in front of him 30 mins before the hearing ( yes-- that is what happens-- they do not see the facts until 30 mins before people enter court ).
District judges hate lawyers and smart azzed solicitors-- for sure ..
