Amazing Photographs...

Agreed , and the phrase was used a lot here with other previous , obviously faked photos - therein lies the irony. I do genuinely have doubts about a photo on the net nowadays because even a small amount of added colouring can bring a good photo up to a brilliant photo. Of course, manipulation is in the art of photography from way back. Where do you draw the line between a great shot as taken , then the amount of work done in studio . Art can be appreciated and criticised by anyone - Just think of Brian Sewell`s voice reading my post ;)

Photography is the lowest of the art forms. All you have to do is see it - not create it. You don't photograph what isn't there.

incorrect. you can create a scene and then photograph it.

also, finding things worth photographing in the first place could probably be considered part of the art.

Create a scene and photograph it? You mean like starting a fight outside a nightclub? Or building a new city?

Which, as I said, makes it a lowly art form.

i'd probably agree with Joe if you mean you can create a reasonable piece of photographic art with very little technical ability. Whereas to paint a masterpiece takes lots of raw talent.
Although it doesn't stop the final product being art...

But where does a pile of bricks or an unmade bed, or tube with 3 holes in it come in all this?
