Agreed , and the phrase was used a lot here with other previous , obviously faked photos - therein lies the irony. I do genuinely have doubts about a photo on the net nowadays because even a small amount of added colouring can bring a good photo up to a brilliant photo. Of course, manipulation is in the art of photography from way back. Where do you draw the line between a great shot as taken , then the amount of work done in studio . Art can be appreciated and criticised by anyone - Just think of Brian Sewell`s voice reading my post

also, finding things worth photographing in the first place could probably be considered part of the art.

i'd probably agree with Joe if you mean you can create a reasonable piece of photographic art with very little technical ability. Whereas to paint a masterpiece takes lots of raw talent.
Although it doesn't stop the final product being art...

But where does a pile of bricks or an unmade bed, or tube with 3 holes in it come in all this?
