I dont understand how it got itself embedded over here in the uk. As far as I know it started in the USA with 1 black sports player not wanting to stand during the USAs national anthem but instead he took his knee in a protest but respect the flag kind of a thing. How that further transpired to our police doing it in the street I do not know.

Unfortunately we now have a class of woke dumbos (often female) at the top of the police who will do anything to ingratiate themselves with whatever trendy bs is flavour of the month. So desperate are they to get down in the hood or parade their MGBGT credentials. Proper coppers are a dying breed at all levels of the force/service now. Hence the mess we're in.
