LSE: founded by the Fabian socialist society -yup that'll make it impartial :):):)

Again logic fail. I am no supporter of the LSE.

You should try harder.

Look at policies and outcomes that are not shaped by ideologies.

I didnt say you were.

the logic fail is JohnD using a LSE link to justify journalistic representation of Jeremy Corbyn in the press.

This is a strange thread (aren't most?).

Not one mention of the original desired vilification of Tony Benn for not giving away all his money.

On a slightly different tack -

Viscount Stansgate had a huge struggle to renounce his title but eventually succeeded.
However, and I do find it strange, on his death the title still passes to his eldest son. Why should or would this be so?

Consequently, throughout his life, was Tony Benn still, effectively, Viscount Stansgate, or not?

When Edward abdicated, the title, King, passed to his brother and then to his brother's descendants.
Would it have reverted, on George's death, to Edward's descendants if he had had any?

it is said, that is one of the reasons why he chose not to have children, to avoid another constitutional crisis.

it's interesting that notch doesn't attempt to disprove the research.

Perhaps because the quality of research from one of the world's foremost academic institutions exceeds his own poor attempts.

This is always a problem for the hard right.

Educated, intelligent, diligent thinking people tend not to agree with them.

Can you think of a reason why?

The right think it must be due to bias.

It is also said that he had a non-traditional relationship with Mrs Simpson.

The report covers a huge period of time, wait no it doesnt, just September 2015 and October 2015.

2 whole months :) (oh and only 24% of media in that period)

And when? Oh yes just a few months before his own party gave him a vote of no confidence 172 to just 40

Educated, intelligent, diligent thinking labour MPs thought the same as the press

'Quality of research from one of the worlds most foremost socialist academic institutions' :):):)

That's because he can't.

I just have :)

If you search through papers to find negative comments about a political figure at a time when he is so unpopular with his own party, it doesnt much work to imagine the outcome. I cant think why they bothered, anybody couldve told them that.

poor old notch is too busy dredging through his four-year-old newspaper cuttings

Can and already have.

You would come back with some ammunition if you had any. :)

Your damp squid reply shows you cant

If he thought he could disprove it he'd be trying.

but he can't.

So I looked into that report and looked at what other academics are saying and it does seem quite clear there is bias.

To me this is the bigger issue.

Britain has one of the most concentrated media environments in the world, with 3 companies in control of 71% of national newspaper circulation and 5 companies in command of 81% of local newspaper titles.
