Ps, evidence was presented.
Your evidence showed that the government was happy when vacations to Spain was the exception, but when it became the norm after two weeks, the government found a convenient excuse to backtrack and create uncertainty about all foreign holiday destinations.
It was an excuse not based on the science.

Exceptionally we are back on track of the discussion. For how long?

You've offered no alternative counter argument, other than to illustrate that the government implemented no restrictions........for two weeks, as far as Spain is concerned, coincidentally the most popular destination for holidays.
And the belief that the government has no ulterior motive, despite that they have proved that they do have ulterior motives for most of their recent policies and measures.
I asked you why the gov would allow other countries to remain open if their sinister ulterior motive was to make people holiday at home. Spain is just one country, there's plenty of others to travel to, over 50 have been listed as ok.

Funnily enough you've not answered it.

I also gave you a link, dated 4th July, where the gov said that they would monitor the situation with all airbridge countries and react if needed (which they have).

You've ignored that.

You're basically making stuff up, coming up with a conspiracy theory against the government, a theory is full of holes (as is all conspiracy theories), ignoring facts (as do all conspiracy theorists) and asking me to prove that the mumble jumble idiocy that is coming out of you is untrue.

What is you say to others who don't provide a link to support their claims? Something along the lines of that you will dismiss it as the nonsense it is.
Well Himmy, I will use your standards that you use against others to you. I dismiss the nonsense you're coming out of because it is exactly that, nonsense.

It's actually hilarious how stupid you're being in your stubbornness to never admit any fault, digging yourself a bigger hole every post you make.

see my second comment on this issue. post number 81.
I wasn't referring only to Spain, but to all foreign holidays.
What better way to encourage staycation than to create anxiety over holidays abroad?

I've also already addressed that point

Possibly and coincidentally, the government have achieved several objectives in one go, contrary to the science (again). There was no need to include the whole of Spanish territory, including the islands which are barely affected bu Covid.
They've made people anxious about holidays abroad, they've reacted (many would argue) too hastily, they've demonstrated to Spain how important the tourist dollar is (a la Bodd), and they've supposedly demonstrated that they can act swiftly, but in my opinion, on the wrong issue, instead demonstrating inconsistency.

You are ignoring the recent behaviour of this government and its advisers, and how it behaves, entirely as it sees fit to achieve its own objectives.

You do not need to be covert, influential,or an organisation to dream up conspiracy theories.

You've butchered your sentence enough, Durham, that while the words themselves make sense, their actual meaning has gone completely away from what I suspect you meant.

I'm guessing that those that decided to travel to such a country as soon as they could during a worldwide pandemic are either not all there in the ‘ead or have warped sense of entitlement and selfishness. Or both.
I guess we all have heard of people like that :)

With this 'rona shoite, anyone planning on going on holiday anytime soon must be wildly optimistic, desperate, thick, loaded, or completely ignorant of the situation IMHO.

It is akin to going "all-inclusive" to a warzone in a ceasefire, in the hope that it won't kick off again while you're there.

As long as you're alert you'll be fine.

I didn't hear or read anything.
Did you hear or read that the sun rose this morning?
It did happen. Just because you don't hear or read anything about it, does not mean it didn't happen.
Otherwise I could argue that I didn't hear or read about Covid 19 affecting share prices, therefore it didn't happen.
