No different to fitting a normal compression fitting (after draining of course)
Always buy your fittings from plumbers merchants if possible, better quality and more cheaper. Homebase and Focus are extortionate for plumbing stuff

you can say that again, i went to a plumbers merchant with a thing i wanted to connect to another thing, it was so cheap i brought 10 of them, any one want a thing , i have 9 left

seriously it was for a little project / toy i was making a merchant is deffinently cheaper

Many a p's m wouldn't have an anti gravity valve. BES.LTD.UK do them.

Buy the spring loaded type as opposed to the ones without springs as they tend to work better.

i used to do a lot of nursing homes biggest problem i had was with spring loaded nrv s
they fell to bits and blocked the mixer at regular intervals
not a criticism of anybody just a thought :D

Where would you find anti-gravity valves in a system?
Why are they typically used?

Under floorboards...behind plasterboard walls, buried in chimney voids, you name it if it's a bugger to get to someone has probably fitted an anti gravity valve there. Mainly used on gravity hot water / pumped ch systems to prevent gravity circulation warming the rads but certainly not exclusively.

i apologise for my previous post
you will usually find them where the pipe branches that tends to be the problem
ie rads heating when on hot water only
having said that i would agree with ollski wherever it is it will be a barst*rd you can bet money on that :(
