Intrigue; Is there more than one race of whiteness?

Irish maybe, some eastern europeans. White "nice" parants etc probably Eaton or some where similar - you've been a naughty boy etc.

;) Scruffy Brits.

I wonder what Ceres had to say about the Cheltenham festival

Oh.

Nothing.

Who would have guessed that?

150,000 people packed like sardines

Unlike the much smaller BLM crowd they're not wearing masks.

But overwhelmingly white so he's not troubled at the thought of spreading disease.

Obviously disease prevention is not what he's interested in.

There must be something else that attracts his attention.

I wonder what it could be?
Worlds biggest yawn.. should never have gone ahead that poster of Boris chasing the bus springs to mind, way too blase the government were joking about a killer virus. Easy to say in hindsight I know but still a fkinf idioti decision.
See what I did there its called an impartial view on events not just a football supporter mentality 'anything they do is sh.t' as they are the opposition

Abyway i think we need Snitch here or one of the others to pull out the slightly worn and tatty 'whattaboutery' card

Scuse text cycling up this hill at same time its a monster..

over 40,000 people had died from CoViD, at the time of the Festival just 10.

If only we'd had some way of knowing that a fatal and incurable disease, capable of killing thousands, and highly infectious was on the way.

Maybe if it had already been seen in, let's say, China, Italy and France, that might might have given us some warning.

Don't you think?

On 10th March Italy already had over ten thousand cases.
Britain only (only?) had a few hundred confirmed, because we were testing hardly anyone. By 24th March we'd had over 500 deaths (obviously of people who were infected by the time Cheltenham started, which also shows how inaccurate our "cases" figure had been, and we must have had many thousand)

In an email sent to Cheltenham Borough Councillors before the Festival started on March 10, The Jockey Club highlights the Prime Minster attended the international rugby game three days before the event.

It's almost as if people at the top of the Cummings government wanted their fun more than they wanted to help the nation.

There was no lock down or health warning at that time

There should have been. But we were still in herd immunity territory then. A political decision.

There was also the option to shut down mass events before lockdown.

You can look back at the festival and say it should have been cancelled. At the time there was some debate. There is no scenario I can see where BLM protests in the middle of lockdown are justified. It’s so selfish. If there is an uptick in infection - everyone suffers.

I'd guess they'd class it as an acceptable trade off. Perhaps similar to the way that Civil rights protestors would risk assault, imprisonment and death in the past.

The law-abiding majority in Leicester are paying the price of the moronic few.

Two more weeks of lockdown
Non-essential retail closed
Schools closed...……..
