@SUNRAY has understood the current situation differently to me, I understood it as both the switch drops went to the 2 gang switch, and then there were two 3cores wired conversion method to 2 gangs of the 3 gang switch that he wanted to use the remaining switch for an outside light. Rather than one switch drop to each end, I think hes right looking at the pictures of the existing, but I was trying to understand original drawing
despite being excellent and highly detailed It wasn't instantly obvious :)

Having never drawn anything like that before, looking at the way others have drawn it is definitely easier to understand! - every day is a school day!

If I'm interpreting 'switch drop to each end' correctly, that was the way I'd understood it.

Thanks again to everyone, massively appreciate the input!

Studied the wiring diagrams to understand what was going on, looked at the pictures of the changes to be made and plucked up the courage to give it a go.

For the first time in 8 years, I finally have an outdoor light!

After checking the changes worked, I removed the brown sleeves on the neutrals I changed in the light fitting and switch as i understand they're no longer switched live; hope that was the right thing to do!

the blue in the left light and 3G switch has changed from a live to a neutral, the right switch and 2G switch stays as it is.

Now the next thing is it requires testing with an appropriate meter and paperwork to be issued.

Well done for getting this far.
