Any tips on fitting a door frame onto stud work.

I have just bought a 5/14 inch door frame from wickes which I want to use in my 4x2 stud work.

I bought the fire door version on that one.

Can some tell me the easist way to fit this with out messing it up. Any tips would be great.

as i cannot see the link,
then take your time,make sure everything is level/plumb and not in wind.
pre drill the frame 1st rather then just screwing through it,pack it out as needed,then if desired once set use expanding foam?

or another way is to fix the hanging side 1st,hang the door then pack out the closing side as needed.

fix hanging side first pin other side try door in and check door fit tight uptp both rebates then fix other side then door will fit perfect
