I've been trying to find out of what my car tax will be in the spring. I've found web pages saying it's only for new cars and others contradicting that?
Anyone know about the new road tax prices?

What it's based on depends on a pile or factors - perhaps the type of vehicle, what CO2 emissions the lying manufacturers claimed it has, it's size, or it's age, how much it cost when new, the capacity of it's combustion engine if it has one, or any combination of those and various others.
The whole VED system is a total mess.
