Trumps tax cuts have ballooned the defecit in USA, his tariff war with China has caused great damage to farming.

It's not really 'booming' is it? Last I heard the US economy is doing well, not as well as it did some of the time under Obama but pretty well.
That, to me, isn't the same as 'booming', which I'd use when its exceptionally good. Have a look at the 10 year trends.

It's interesting that you quote the IMF as they think the US has a larger % debt than the UK. Heck, you even say so with the central government debt. Which means Notch7 is right?
