Which installations are exempt from PP?

Aerial & Satellite? Telephony? BA? (excl. mains connection, of course) Installations involving connection to electrical supply via moulded plug top.

I ask this because one or two self-employed sparks I have spoken to have decided either to give up when PP comes in (as it won't be worth their while) or move into areas that are out of PP's jurisdiction.

Any ideas?

How do they know that? Thought the whole point of this was to increase the earning opportunities for NICEIC electricians? Surely all they have to do is to join NICEIC and climb aboard the gravy train?
