I got a bit of a shock the first time I posted in GD. It was about Brexit. I asked whether we would be able to rejoin the EU without joining the single currency and received a volley of rude and aggressive replies. I now avoid most topics on Brexit, Covid and immigration. I enjoy the rest very much.

I would have thought it's pretty obvious, no insults required:
No rebate, no £, accept euro, accept schengen, etc.
That's if they all agree for UK to rejoin, and there's no guarantee of that.

Covid and it's implications have been a wake-up call for the world.

And immigration, in all its forms, is a natural human phenomenon that is impossible to restrict.
