have you noticed that most of the songs are being sung in English? why is that? Not for America as they aint in it? And we're carp at it !!!

It's funny, cos years ago they used to be in English, then they went through a phase of singing in their own languages, now it has returned to English... Perhaps it is the default second language of most European countries so it is the most common denominator.... Shame it isn't in England

That's a bugger that is! When I toured Europe a few years ago, all the songs on the radio stations were in this strange alien language, some might call it French, Belgium, German, I don't know...

Your own words, aint (ain't), and 'carp', magnify that English isn't being used, but, as you put it yourself, Americanisms, but, really, you need to get out more. Bugger!
 
English is the internationally used language of Air Traffic Control. Perhaps they are running the Eurovision Song Contest this year ??
