Armed robber in betting shop dies at the scene!

He was probably a gambler and lost all his money and was getting it back.

Its very easy to judge, what if the guy was absolutely at his wits end who was desperate didn't know what else to do, it was the first time he'd he done anything like it and it was an air gun. needed money for food rent who knows

Did he get what he deserved then ?

What happened to him was a consequence of his own actions, he chose to wear the gas mask and presented himself as a violent armed criminal whom the public restrained until police arrived for their own safety.

The death sentence is not appropriate for armed robbery in this country, but tbh it's hard to feel sympathy for him regardless of his circumstances he was committing a very serious offence that would have traumatised those involved and could have been fatal for others.

His death was entirely a result of his own actions and the course he had decided to embark upon.

His intention was to put the staff at the betting shop in fear of their lives to the extent that they would hand over the takings. If armed police had turned up and he'd pointed the gun at them they would have dropped him on the spot - no question about it. He pointed the gun at customers in the shop - they dropped him (albeit inadvertently).

No difference.

GB mate, I'm desperate for money now. I have been desperately short of money before in my life.

But I would not dream of putting another human being through an ordeal like that to steal cash.

No way.

Death.

Stop blaming other people.

Lets get back to people taking responsibility for their actions.

Imitation gun......because it's all he could get his hands on, if he had a real one he's have took it. He didn't tell the staff it was imitation before he started. Just another scrote out of the way.

Did he tell his victims it was an imitation???? No, his intention was obviously for them to think he had a weapon which could easily kill them.

The fact that it turned out to be an imitation gun is completely irrelevant.
