Where do you get your superscript squaredz from?
I want some.An add on to some replies above.
What do you think will be the first question the DNO are going to ask you?
What is the maximum demand?
They can't quote you when they don't know what you want.
Does 'chicken shed' mean a large heat lamp installation etc, as that might need 3-phase.
If the existing mains are already heavily loaded the DNO might want to put in a local substation and supply at 11/6.6kV especially if there is going to be industrial requirements at the location.

there will be something on their website for 'new connections'

Sometimes I copy and paste them in from Windoze Character Map.Where do you get your superscript squaredz from?
Sometimes I select them from the forum Special Characters menu.
Which has been there for almost 7 weeks now - have you not once, in all that time, been curious enough to click on it and see what it is?

To get a ² press and hold down the ALT key. then type 253 on the numeric right hand key pad. ( Not the numbers in the top row ) and then release the ALT key
