Attaching a boss to orange soil pipe - solv. weld or strap?

Have to make a connection to a short length of vertical orange soil pipe under the ground to take a 32mm pipe - would I use a strap on or solvent weld boss for this? Was going to use a 50mm boss with a pushfit reducer to 32mm. Any other way of doing this?

Make sure you fit by the regs - can't connect into a soil pipe less than 450mm from the base of the bend at the bottom of the stack.
