Attaching wheels to heavy items for towing... Does it exist?

Thinking about it, it'd probably go sideways on my towable trolley - the sides come off to give a small flat bed. No way I can strap it securely but with one or two mates to hold each end stable, I can probably then tow it so nobody has to lift the damn thing

From days gone by this method of moving heavy items worked well using nothing but a couple of poles and some rope. ( and muscle power )
