LMB, please tell me what i'm missing, becasue even if i were stranded on a desert island, i don't see destroying life as fun!!!! i would rip apart any animal (probably due for further discussion) to feed me and my kids... but killing things for fun is wrong... isn't it?...

I agree, killing animals for fun, simply has to be wrong..... But for food?
What about if it's for their own dinner plate???

ok, i better step down..... i just feel that when you killl an animal for food, there has to be some dignity... some small amount of respect and restraint...

Rubbish... most people who eat meat, want it killed ethically...

The point is, how many of 'most' people, truthfully, even consider for a second, how the meat they are eating was killed.
Even if they did, the argument of FUN would NEVER come into it.
I agree its wrong to kill animals for fun....but when you drink your milk or have milk on your cornflakes, do you think the cow that produced that milk has had a happy life......not at all, far from it, they live a horrible life, constantly exhausted, a quarter of them die from exhaustion every year. They a pregnant for most of their lives which is a slow torture and animal cruelty!

Like Snico says, I'd rather eat something that was killed in the wild than something that's been mass produced and stuffed into a cage. My uncle goes fishing for trout. Sometimes he brings his catches home for dinner, I suppose you have a problem with that as well?
