not particularly no. But I think you could be confusing the defintion of "influence".
It does not lead me to believe something is better than it really is or that I'll go rushing out to buy it, but it does make me aware of products/services which I may actually want.
Wouldn't you say that all the kids who have to have the latest fashions to fit in, and pick on the ones who haven't got them have been influenced? going out now catch you later.
kids yeh, definately, but I was generally referring to people who should know better. I think the conversation was born out of people who do "naughty" things. I would hope anyone under the age of about 14 would not be involved in such activities unless their parents were hopeless.

Under 14 ? younger people today (not all) might grow some sense when they're 34. Till then they're all influenced by the behaviour they see from others out and about and the likes of that pr1ck on the 'balls of steel' clips.
I reckon the 'binge drinking' culture they have now is just behaviour learned on holidays abroad,.
34! Anyone who needs to get to that age before realising how to behave in society would definately fall into the category of "beyond reasonable help and without hope in life"
