We have two basin taps sticking and not giving much flow, if any. Looking to repair if possible, or use a reviver kit. Does anyone know what make of tap this is? Also, how to dismantle. See photo.

I don't think replacing them is straightforward as sink is in a sealed tiled base unit, with no access underneath.

Thanks.

At some point they will need replacing.
Id bite the bullet now and destroy the enclosure, put new taps on,installing full bore service valves and providing an access opening for the future
If your reviving plans go south youll be doing this anyway.
Sorry to be unhelpful.

The top will either screw off,or possibly pull / prise off. There will be a screw under there to remove. You then pull up and off the lower part of the handle from the spline of the valve itself.
You can then remove the valve for service or replacement.

I'd guess at the jumpers sticking down, inside the taps. I wonder if that upper part, might be a push on cap? Try gently prising something between those two thick rings around the handle. Under that, possibly a screw, undo that, and the rest of the handle might come off. You should then have access to unscrew the upper part of the tap, after ensuring the water is off first.

The jumper, is a bit of brass rod, with a flat disc at the bottom end, and the rubber washer screwed to it. Likely the washer will be sticking, breaking up, and need replacing.

Thanks for replies. I'd already tried to unscrew the top part but no joy. I'll try your other suggestions, thanks.

I managed to eventually remove the top of the tap (it was a screw off type). See photo of what's inside. What's the purpose of the thing that looks like an upside down bolt at the side of the main central screw. Never seen this before.
Thanks.

I think it is just a spare screw, I never thought of that as it really looked like it was part of the mechanism (at least to my untrained eyes!!I've just prised it out, it was tightly jammed in. Thanks everyone, should be able to get it sorted now.
