I have a 1960's (?) bath mixer/shower made by Twyford. The bath/shower supply is controlled by a lever between the two taps and I am having problems gettin a steady supply of hot water for either the bath or shower - after a short time the water runs cold.
I've been told that there is a washer in the lever which stops the cold water getting into the hot tap.
Is this true and, if so, how do I get to it?
