Bathroom Extractor Fan Not Working

Sponsored Links
I've checked the wiring in the light switch, isolation switch and extractor fan. It all looks fine, so is the most likely problem the fan is just broken?

Almost certainly. Cheap fans don’t last long these days
I should be clear that when I say the wiring looks fine, what I mean is all the correct wires are going into the correct terminals. I'll replace the fan and see how that goes.

I just bought a replacement fan and fitted it. Is working fine. Thanks to everyone for the help and advice.

Or so I thought. I only did a short check before returning to finish the job today. The fan has an overrun timer controlled by a jumper and 4 pins. It's supposed to be adjustable for 5, 15 and 30 minutes, but no matter which two pins I connect it runs for 30 minutes. It's a Domus STF100-T, which I bought as a like-for-like replacement for the broken Silavent GTF100-T. Pins circled in photo.
