The fcu is isolating the neutral when turned off. This install needs rejigging to work as required.
You need to take the 3core to a new switch/pull switch and from load side of fcu take a twin and earth to new switch and connect as follows :-
Brown from twin to common of switch
Neutral connect to grey of 3 core with connector
Brown of 3 core to common
Black of 3 core to L1
At fan put brown to p live, black to sl and grey to neutral
Also please don't just connect brown of 3 core to supply side of fcu as suggested above as this will be fused at 32amp which will offer no protection for the 3 core and could be dangerous

There is a world of difference between asking about things you are unsure of, as part of learning process, which you undertake before you start any work, and which you do not stop until you genuinely know and understand everything that is involved, and just blundering ahead when you must realise you don't know what you're doing and coming here after you've screwed up and asking questions because you don't understand the most basic things about electrical circuits. Why are you here, serious question?
Just seems like you repeat the same boring reply to every person who asks a question, and you could say everyone who asks a question isn't 100% sure in what they're doing or they wouldn't be here on a DIY electrics forum asking a question in the first place would they??. derrrrrrrrrrrr
