Baumatic Wine Cooler not cooling

hi, I bought a small Baumatic BWC305SS wine cooler around two and half years ago and it recently stopped getting cold enough. The fan works, the door seals ok, it is well ventilated. The temperature control buttons respond to set a new digital display target temperature but it does get down below around 15 degrees C. I called Baumatic and they were hopeless - unable to try to diagnose anything all they can offer is either £130 for a call out from their engineer or offered for me to sign up to a plan at £15 pm for 12 months...
I am loath to throw it out and also loathe to get the engineer round when it could be something simple. Any advice?
